I am currently a senior executive at Digital River within our enterprise level World Payments group. The views expressed in this blog are my own, and do not necessarily represent those of the organization or within my current capacity at the company.
Since early 2012, I have focused on helping companies optimize the way they think about transacting and taking payments on a global scale. This includes strategies to work more effectively with financial institutions around the world, as well as providing simple local payment options to increase conversion.
Prior to Digital River, I started my own consulting business which was acquired by the social consultancy, Converseon, in May 2011. For more than 3 years, I advised companies with their social media strategy, specifically as it relates to social media listening. I have focused on helping clients use tools like Radian6, Alterian SM2, Scout Labs and Converseon’s Conversation Miner to understand current conversations taking place about things they care about. After analyzing results methodically based on business KPIs, we work with our clients to define business strategies around execution and governance that can result in tangible ROI from social media initiatives.
Before focusing on social media, I was a senior technology and business consultant in North America, South America and Europe at both Accenture and the Mitchell Madison Group for more than 10 years. I also have a masters degree from the prestigious INSEAD MBA program in France and Singapore along with a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
I have spent a significant portion of the last 5 years thinking and working with companies that are at the intersection of payments, social, big data and local, and I look forward to continuing the conversation around these topics as we all try to build companies that matter.
